Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP)

Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP), also known as anaphylactoid purpura, is a medical condition more frequently seen in children and results usually from a disturbed immune reaction to an infection or some medication.  The symptoms of HSP include skin rash at the back of the lower extremities, pain and swelling in joints, and cramping pain in the abdomen.  The main pathology of this medical condition is inflammation of blood vessels, also known as vasculitis, in which small blood vessels in the capillaries get inflamed and start bleeding.  This reaction can thus be seen in the skin, kidneys, joints, as well as the abdomen.

Most patients affected with HSP usually require Ayurvedic herbal treatment for a period of 2 to 4 months.  Almost all patients recover completely from this disease without any long-term complications.  This demonstrates the utility and effectivity of Ayurvedic herbal medicines in the treatment of HSP.

An order once placed, cannot be cancelled. For exceptional circumstances (e.g. sudden death of patient), we need to get our medicines returned in good and usable condition, after which a refund will be effected after deducting 30 % administrative expenses. Return will be at the cost of the client. Capsules and powders do not qualify for a refund. Local courier charges, international shipping costs incurred, and documentation and handling charges also will not be refunded.Even in case of exceptional circumstances, a refund will be considered only within 10 days from delivery of the medicines. The decision taken by staff of Mundewadi Ayurvedic Clinic in this respect will be final and binding on all clients.

The treatment package includes shipping costs for domestic clients who are ordering within India. Shipping charges are extra for international clients. In addition, international clients will have to select a minimum of 2 months' order since this will be the most cost effective and practical option.

With a full course of treatment, patients recover completely. Treatment is usually a combination of oral Ayurvedic medications and some Panchkarma procedures.
