Herpes Simplex/Genital Herpes

Herpes simplex is a viral infection affecting the skin and mucosa of the mouth, face, and genitals.  Herpes simplex infection, also known as a cold sore, usually occurs in people with decreased immunity.  Blisters are accompanied by itching and pain, swollen lymph glands, and fever.  Herpes simplex infection can be recurrent due to infections, stress, trauma, exposure to ultraviolet rays, and decrease in immunity.  The blisters in herpes simplex usually heal in a week or two.

The Ayurvedic herbal treatment of herpes simplex involves the use of anti-viral herbal medicines which act on the herpes simplex virus and inactivate it.  In addition, these medicines also heal the herpes simplex lesions and bring about a cure of the condition.  Anti-viral herbal medicines also serve a double purpose of improving the body immunity and preventing further infection, so that recurrences are seldom seen after a full course of treatment with Ayurvedic herbal medicines.  Treatment can be given both in the form of local applications of herbal pastes or medicated oils, as well as the use of oral medication.  Affected individuals who are known to have a highly compromised immune status can also be given additional herbal medicines to boost the immunity of the body.

Herpes simplex is known to be one of the opportunistic infections in the manifestation of HIV and AIDS.  Aggressive treatment of herpes simplex can reduce the suffering of the affected individual to a considerable extent, and reduce treatment time.  For example, herpes simplex infection of the mouth can cause severe pain and an inability to eat, chew, or swallow food.  Ayurvedic herbal treatment in the form of local application and oral medication can bring about relief for this condition within two to three days. Howecer, medicines should be continued for at least 3-4 months in order to prevent a recurrence.

An order once placed, cannot be cancelled. For exceptional circumstances (e.g. sudden death of patient), we need to get our medicines returned in good and usable condition, after which a refund will be effected after deducting 30 % administrative expenses. Return will be at the cost of the client. Capsules and powders do not qualify for a refund. Local courier charges, international shipping costs incurred, and documentation and handling charges also will not be refunded.Even in case of exceptional circumstances, a refund will be considered only within 10 days from delivery of the medicines. The decision taken by staff of Mundewadi Ayurvedic Clinic in this respect will be final and binding on all clients.

The treatment package includes shipping costs for domestic clients who are ordering within India. Shipping charges are extra for international clients. In addition, international clients will have to select a minimum of 2 months' order since this will be the most cost effective and practical option.

With a combination of oral medications and Panchkarma treatment modalities, most patients get completely cured with a treatment of about 4 months, which also prevents recurrence.
